NTTU – Recently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully held a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) on the integration of two subjects of the ICAEW CFAB Certificate into the curriculum of Accounting<\/em><\/p>\n

On February 23, 2022, at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the University and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) on the integration of two subjects of the university took place. ICAEW CFAB certification into the curriculum of Accounting. Attending the program, on the side of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there were: Dr. Tran Ai Cam \u2013 Rector of the School; Dr. Thai Hong Thuy Khanh \u2013 Dean of Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen \u2013 Head of Auditing Department; MS. Le Quang Khanh \u2013 Head of International Cooperation Department; and teachers who are working in related departments and faculties. Representatives of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales: Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang \u2013 ICAEW Representative in Vietnam; Ms. Le Bich Tran \u2013 Education market development director; Mr. Nguyen Vu An Binh – Senior market development specialist in the corporate sector.<\/p>\n

Representatives of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales discuss cooperation agreements<\/p>\n

According to the cooperation agreement, the Faculty of Finance – Accounting of Nguyen Tat Thanh University will officially integrate the subjects of Management Accounting (Management Information) and Auditing (False Assurance) into the curriculum for students starting from the academic year 2022. Students will use 100% of the original ICAEW textbooks compiled entirely in English during their studies.<\/p>\n

After the memorandum of understanding on cooperation on improving the quality of student training, and at the same time promoting scientific research and updating knowledge for the teaching staff, signed in October 2020. ICAEW and the Faculty of Finance – Accounting Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized many programs and activities for lecturers and students. In 2021, ICAEW also awarded the film copyrights and conducted training sessions for lecturers on modern financial human resource training methods using case studies, training in reality case knowledge on management – finance – accounting – auditing – ethics False Assurance directly produced by ICAEW.<\/p>\n

In addition, the programs to support capacity building of lecturers through educational seminars – fostering professional knowledge held annually by ICAEW are also actively participation by lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. In terms of typical student support activities, ICAEW has sponsored more than 50 scholarships for students of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting to study Management Accounting in the ICAEW CFAB program (including soft skills training courses), thereby helping major students gradually reach international standards.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony took place successfully, once again affirming the extensive development in the cooperation relationship between ICAEW and Nguyen Tat Thanh University. The integration of two subjects of the ICAEW CFAB Certificate into the Accounting curriculum at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting is in line with the University’s strategy of focusing on internationalization and integration\u00a0for all students. At the same time, it contributes to further enhancing the practical difference for the school’s training program, in order to train global citizens with the most international standard knowledge, skills\u00a0and practice, according to the philosophy of Education “REAL LEARNING \u2013 REAL PRACTICE \u2013 REAL PRESTIGE \u2013 REAL CAREER<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
