Faculty of Finance and Accounting of Nguyen Tat Thanh University located at 331 National Highway 1A in District 12 in HCMC, was established under Decision No. 449/QD-NTT on September 21, 2016, on the basis of merging the Faculty of Finance and Banking and the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.

Faculty of Finance and Accounting of Nguyen Tat Thanh University located at 331 National Highway 1A in District 12 in HCMC, was established under Decision No. 449/QD-NTT on September 21, 2016, on the basis of merging the Faculty of Finance and Banking and the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.The faculty offers two levels of education, including Bachelor and Master levels. 02 majors of Bachelor level includes Accounting and Finance and Banking, in which the Bachelor of Finance and Banking program has achieved quality accreditation according to the AUN-QA standards in 2019. The Master’s level includes the Master of Finance and Banking training program and 01 Master training program affiliated with the university in Malaysia – MUST University with Supply chain management majors.In the Development Strategy of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting for the period 2020-2025, with a vision to 2035, the Faculty declares the vision and mission as follows:

Faculty Vision

By 2035, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting becomes one of the leading faculty in Finance, Banking and Accounting in the practical application orientation. The Faculty also has Undergraduate and  Postgraduate training programs which are recognized according to international standards.
 

Faculty Mission

Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is committed to promoting economic development and business environment in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam through training, research and community service activities based on the association with businesses and organizations related to the finance, banking, accounting and auditing industries in order to train high-quality, start-up capable human resources to meet the needs of the domestic and foreign labor market and contribute to making NTT University one of the leading universities in Vietnam.

  2. Implementing 01 active program for the Alumni Club and the Academic Club.
  3. 90% of graduates getting a job right after 1st-year graduation.
  4. 100% of subjects of the Finance and Accounting Faculty deployed E-learning at level 1.
  5. 01 university scientific research, 08 articles published in both domestic and international magazines.
  6. Adjusting the curriculum program for both accounting major and finance-banking major to OBE output standards.
  7. Implementing 01 students or lecturers exchange programs with a foreign university.
  8. Implementing 01 international cooperation program.
  9. Implementing an active program for business lecturers.
  10. 90% of students responding with satisfaction about teaching operation of lecturers in the Finance – Accounting Faculty.
  11. Training on practical practice in the enterprise at least 4 subjects.

Establishment and Development of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting

 

Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City, was established under Decision No. 449/QD-NTT, September 21, 2016, of Principal Nguyen Tat Thanh University, based on the merging from Faculty of Finance and Banking and Faculty of Accounting and Auditing. The main task of the Faculty is to carry out teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Finance – Banking and Accounting.
 
Over a period of more than 10 years of establishment and development, with many successive generations, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting has focused on building a lecturer team, education programs, and focus on scientific research activities of the university, lecturers, students… and initially achieved many proud achievements. The Faculty of Finance and Accounting has always grown in quantity and quality and is one of the key faculties, actively contributing to the growing development of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
 
In the coming time, the Faculty intends to expand and renew education programs, strengthen cooperation activities with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in providing existing training services, deploy new topics, strengthen scientific research cooperation and link training with universities abroad, especially countries in the ASEAN region.
 
Currently, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting is training undergraduate and postgraduate as follows:

    • Master in Supply Chain Management in association with MUST University, Malaysia
It is expected that in the near future, some more specialized Bachelor will be opened such as:
