International Conference 2021 on Global Leadership and Management in Higher Education: Innovations and Best Practices 2021

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the International Conference 2021 on  Global Leadership and Management in Higher Education: Innovations and Best Practices. The conference is jointly organized by SEAMEO Regional Training Center in Vietnam (SEAMEO RETRAC) and British Columbia Council for International Education (BCCIE) – Canada, under the sponsor of Capilano University, Canada , and will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on July 29-30, 2021.

This year, the Conference will be conducted in a blended format, which combines both face-to-face and virtual sessions. In order to restrain the participants from overseas travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic, international speakers and participants will join the Conference via the Zoom platform and watch the Conference streamed on Youtube Live. Concurrently, Vietnamese speakers and participants will take part in the Conference organized at SEAMEO RETRAC’s premises – 35 Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

The Conference will be once again a global platform for discussion, collaboration and intellectual exchange among educational leaders, academicians and professionals in related areas of higher education from all over the world.

The main goal of this 2021 Conference is to help the participants update and exchange information about best practices and effective innovations in leadership and management in higher education to be better prepared for the future. The Conference is also aimed at exploring innovative ideas and practices related to current leadership and management strategies, quality assurance and accreditation, cooperation between institutions and industry, technology applications, and global citizenship education.

We are interested in inviting prospective researchers, educators, practitioners, and participants with a professional interest in quality in educational leadership and management. The Conference is also encouraging and inviting contributions of research papers that analyze and study the aforementioned fields to the Conference.

Guide for presenters/authors

 The Organizing Committee is inviting the submission of abstracts (about 250-300 words) and papers including the brief biographies of the writers/authors by the deadlines indicated below. Content of the papers must be related to the theme and/or sub-themes of the conference.

The abstract of not more than 300 words should be submitted electronically to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. using MS Word format. The abstract should be proceeded by the title of the paper, the name(s) and institutional affiliations of the author(s). The font should be Times New Roman, in 12pt. The abstract must be submitted by May 28, 2021. The announcement of abstracts that have been accepted for presentation will be within 15 working days of receipt (not including weekends) and by no later than June 18, 2021.
